A+ Denver is part of a coalition of organizations that worked with DPS and national experts on the new, improved school enrollment process now used in Denver. This page was created to supplement the DPS website and to help spread the word about the new process that started in 2011.
You can find the DPS SchoolChoice website at http://schoolchoice.dpsk12.org. Below you will find important information, forms, and dates to help you understand how the new process works. In 2011 DPS transitioned from having over 60 different enrollment procedures to a single form due on one date, along with improved enrollment guides to teach parents and families about all the school options their children have. All transition grade students (incoming Kindergarten, 6th, and 9th graders) need to submit a form in person to their most-preferred DPS school or to one of two DPS Enrollment Centers, located in the Butler Building at 2960 North Speer Blvd. and at 4800 Telluride St. Building 5, Room 144. There is no online form, and any forms submitted through mail, email, or fax will not be processed.
